Medici is a classic auction and strategy board game designed by acclaimed game designer Reiner Knizia. Players compete across three rounds to earn the most points by carefully bidding on valuable sets of commodity cards and building the most profitable cargo. As players fill their ships with valuable cargo, they must balance quantity and value while watching their opponents closely. Each round ends when players have filled their ships or the commodity deck runs out. Points are then awarded to players who collect the most of particular commodities, as well as the player with the most valuable overall cargo.
