Using shady materials speeds up construction, but at the cost of gaining cursed Corruption Amulets from Sobek, the crocodile god. At the game’s dramatic finale, Cleopatra herself punishes the most corrupt architects - stripping their wealth or even feeding them to her crocodile! Only the richest surviving architect claims victory.
