Bosk is a strategy board game set in a national park where players grow trees and compete for control of the landscape over the course of a year. Each player manages their own set of trees, placing them carefully and adapting to changing conditions across the seasons.
The game is played over four seasons, each with a distinct focus. In spring, players place and grow their trees on the board. In summer, hikers move along the park trails and players score points based on the combined value of their trees in each row and column.
During autumn, wind direction determines how leaves fall and spread across the board. Players choose how many leaves to move, aiming to cover terrain and gain control of key areas while interacting with other players’ leaves. Strategic placement and timing play a major role in shaping the board.
In winter, players score points for having the most and second-most leaf coverage in each of the park’s regions. After all scoring is complete, the player with the highest total score wins.
Bosk offers a clean, strategic experience built around area control, planning, and adapting to shifting conditions, making it a strong choice for players who enjoy thoughtful, interactive board games.
