Fabula Rasa is an imaginative storytelling card game that challenges players to think creatively while testing their memory and attention to detail. Inspired by oral storytelling traditions, players take turns as the narrator, building a shared story that changes with every round. Illustrated motif cards highlight key characters, objects, and locations that shape the narrative.
As the game progresses, some cards disappear while new ones are added, requiring players to recall the story elements in the correct order. Successfully retelling the story without errors earns rewards, making each turn a blend of creativity, focus, and quick thinking.
Fabula Rasa Crime introduces a dramatic courtroom theme that elevates the experience. Players step into the role of lawyers who must piece together a believable account of a crime using inconsistent testimonies and constantly changing evidence. Despite the confusion, each player must present a clear and persuasive explanation to convince others of their case.
