Istanbul Choose & Write

Welcome back to the Istanbul Bazaar in this fab spin-off of the best-selling Istanbul!

In the game Istanbul: Choose & Write, players will act as cunning merchants aiming to collect goods and lira to exchange for precious rubies. Unlike the usual table setup with common locations, every player has a personal bazaar in front of them, which is like a game strategy sheet. Here, players will keep track of their choices as they play.

When it's their turn, players must decide between playing a Location card or a Guild card. Location cards let all merchants take the action of the specified location or an adjacent spot on their sheet. For a different strategy, players can play a Guild card, which is pricey but triggers strong effects. Fans of the Istanbul game series will recognize familiar spots in Istanbul: Choose & Write, like the Large Market and the Gemstone Dealer. But with the innovative choose-and-write mechanic, the bazaar visit presents a whole new set of challenges.
